We also decided to make the best of our most recent, and most despised, snow storm. We were so close to Spring, we could see the grass and smell the fresh air and wouldn't you know it, we get a foot and a half of snow. On Sunday Emma and I took a trip on her sled to our neighbor's house down the street where Dad was brewing beer with some friends. We packed the sled with Em's diaper bag and off we went...She didn't know what to make of it at first but soon enough she leaned back on her bag and enjoyed the ride...I am pretty sure she didn't want to stop when we got home, I think we could have gone a few blocks!

Friday was an exciting day for Em too. We spent the day with Emma's Nana (Nannie as Em calls her) and Grampie (or Gumpie and Em calls him. We went to their house for Nannie's birthday and enjoyed a visit from Father Joe and a surprise visit from Aunt Marie! Em also got to visit with her Great Aunt Kathy & Uncle Fred. She was exhausted by day's end but she had a blast visiting with everyone!

And finally, Emma's vocabulary is ever building. She says book, home, Cookie (for Cookie Monster, Elmo, feet, belly, all gone, see you later, and so much more I could go on all day. She has even mastered small sentences...like "Goodnight Dadda or Mamma", and a few more. She is definitely my daughter, very verbal!
Here's hoping Spring is really just around the corner!
