Two year old photos- If only she sat still....

Yesterday we headed to our friends, The DeTomas, for Emma's 2 year photos. Mark has been taking beautiful pics of Emma since she was a tiny baby and he generously offered again to take her two year old shots. We decided in advance to bring only 2 outfits. I had anticipated that costume changes would not go as well as they did when she was younger. Boy was I right! We could not get her to sit still for a single picture. She wanted to just run around and play. Mark, being an amazing photographer, (www.markdetoma.com) still managed to get a few keepers. We attempted a family shot but it just wasn't going to happen! Maybe we should try candids next time... To top it off, during dinner with Mark & Shaina, Emma had a major meltdown and we had to go home early. I think we are at a point where it is just easier to have friends over here so Emma can just go to bed when she is done for the day. We still had a great time with the DeTomas and Emma had a blast with their two pugs, Lola & Reily! Better luck next time...we hope ;)
